Workforce Development Program
The Workforce Professional Development Program (WPDP) is an online course providing both new and long time workforce development professionals a strong foundation to the work we do each day.
Four Modules
The WPDP consists of four modules covering the History of Workforce Development, Business and Job Seekers, Labor Market Information, and Unemployment Insurance.
Study Groups
Each module includes study guides to help you prepare for the required knowledge tests. To ensure success, start a local study group or join one of our virtual groups.
On Demand
Study and take the knowledge tests when it works for you. As a participant in WPDP you have up to six months to complete all four modules.

Each module has 4 units (lessons) and each unit has a 25 question, multiple choice quiz. At the end of each module you receive an electronic badge that you may display to recognize your achievement. You also receive a personalized certificate upon completion of the full program.
